Established in the year 2010, the College has successful completion of 12 years of empowering girls education.The goals and objectives of the college is to offer quality education to girls,women and to empower them with information and awareness that enable them to cope with the challenges at various levels and in different spheres and to strive for excellence in the fields of teaching, research, employment and entrepreneurship. The College has highly qualified teachers with 12 Professors and 9 other staff. The College is affiliated to R.T.M Nagpur University, Nagpur. College is located at Salekasa Tahshil, District-Gondia.
College offers Science Undergraduate Course B.Sc.(Home Science).
SRB Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Salekasa was established on 15th July, 2010 by Poorti Bahudeshiya Sanstha Salekasa, (Buddist Religion Minority Sanstha) under the visionary leadership and guidance of the founder honorable Secretary Shri Rajendraji Badole Sir and President Shalini Sakhare Madam, SRB Mahila Mahavidyalaya employee are working under U.G.C. guidline and rules.
With a view to advancing the scope of higher education of girls and women,in naxal affected adivasi regions (tahshil) irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. It is the vision of the college to fulfill this mission To offer quality education to women and encourage and contribute to the overall development of girl-students and lavel-up with urban-city girls.
